OUR MISSION
In the Summer of 2019, the DePaul User Experience Association (DUXA) was born out of a desire to create more representation and opportunities for User Experience Design students at DePaul. While there are other inclusive CDM and STEM clubs at DePaul, none are specifically geared towards the undergraduate User Experience Design students. DePaul User Experience Association brings DePaul undergraduate User Experience Design students, students in related majors (ex. graphic design, information technology, computer science, psychology), and User Experience enthusiasts together to better understand the current industry standards. DUXA also aims to create opportunities for students to collaborate, network, learn and get involved within the UX community. DUXA is very inclusive and is open to all undergraduate and graduate students.
OUR GOALS

Help members discover User Experience Design jobs and internships

Host User Experience Design talks with recruiters, industry workers, DePaul alumni and professors, designers

For members of differing majors to have an interdisciplinary perspective on design. User Experience Design encompasses graphic design, computer science, information technology, web design, psychology, philosophy, and cybersecurity, etc.

For members to have a space where they can seek and receive experienced constructive criticism on their User Experience Design course projects.

Host portfolio, design, and development User Experience Design related skills workshops

To help User Experience Design undergraduates find major-related jobs and internships through career, networking, and speaker events
